Advantage: Epic

Epic: 50 points, Epically Epic: 100 points

Being truly Epic, or possessing "Epicness", is a rarity amongst men, and this quality is prized among all others. With this advantage, you can never roll a natural 1. If you do, you may burn the dice*. You may also reroll three dice per day, and keep the higher of the rolls. Players with Epically Epic Advantages may keep the dice too.

On the other hand, being Epically Epic is a rarity amongst Epic men, and is considered just plain overkill. An Epically Epic character rolls natural 23s consistently, but can roll natural 1s on other dice again. A small price to pay for rollin' 23s.

*Be aware that burning dice may result in the creation of time gas. Always burn dice in a well-ventilated environment.

There's some disagreement over the point cost of this advantage, I take it?
My book shows 50. Which kind of makes sense, you can't even take Epic unless you take Actually Harmless if it's 200 points--the rest of the disadvantages barely add up to 199. And I don't think that the ability to not roll ones counteracts the lack of ability to in any way, shape, or form be useful. The only AH character sheet I've ever seen successfully run 'depends'' on the ability to get ones--if you take enough disadvantages and attempt to help the enemy, your marketability score will rise with your bumbling, keeping you alive, and your attempts to damage your own party will usually fail critically and either decimate the attacking party or revitalize yours. -patkelly
Huh, I was thinking of the house version my group used to play with. We had a whole bunch of made up disadvantages to compensate...ahh the good old days. My book actually does list this as being 50 points.
I always used to use my friends' books, and their rules were: "You can't be Epic if you don't even have the book, Natch!" We house-ruled it for being 75 points, I believe, and it never really ended up being a problem. Anyways, what did the Epically Epic character trait do, again? My DM always reserved that for 'his' characters. Ass.
