Advantage: Sycophant

Flatterer: 30 points, Suck Up: 60 points, Yesman: 90 points, Certified Ass Kisser: 120 points

Being a sycophant, while not generally regarded as a desirable or noble trait, is nevertheless an advantage. Like all those who, throughout the ages, have exploited the feelings and emotions of others for personal gain, a sycophant is particularly able to manipulate certain individuals to achieve an outcome that they desire. In a sycophant's case, this is through an adept application of flattery, agreeing with the other person, and other similar tactics. A sycophant is often looked on with a mix of jealousy and disgust by party members, but the gains they can eran for themselves and the party go a long way towards soothing the wounds of pride inflicted by the sycophant's shady trade.

Flatterer:

  • You know your way with words and you throw complements around as if they were trash, or the possesions of peasants, people like you and they seem to think you like them, the ignorant fools.

  • +2 to Public Relations.
    • Roll 1d23+2+WIT against whoever you're talking to's 1d23+WIS, if you tie or beat them, your "You" alignment is perceived as "Up", if your "You" alignment is already perceived as "Up" then their attitude towards you rises by 1 level.
      • If the above occurs and their attitude is already at "Loyal Ally" they give you either 1d5 gold or all their gold and possestions at hand, whatever is lower.
  • This is unusable with party members.

Suck Up:

  • You're a smooth operator, you can butter people up no matter what their attitude, you pick up girls as if they're going out of style and you can even dry hump them and they won't mind, as long as the complements keep coming, they're happy.

  • This is unusable with party members.
