Agash Brigade

After the disasterous Battle of Terrible Vampyre Tactics of 26,984 (TUE), Gunter the Flick was disgraced and the Vampyre Lord Vhadxi had no faith in his abilities. Vhadxi decided he needed to give Gunter a mission where even a disasterous failure would not hurt the larger campaign. Sending Gunter to his homeland of Morlond's Field he instructed him to seek out the other Emperors into a very specific fighting force: the Agash Brigade.

Calling themselves the Agash Sharks, and referred to by Peter of The Twelve Twisted Evil as the stupid suicide squad, the force marched on Aasanarra'iaryl, the land of the Elf-Witches in 26,992. Vhadxi knew the Elf-Witches were compulsive gamblers and Agash players and so gave Gunter the Flick very specific instructions on how he might best exploit this weakness.

Bizarrely, the disorganized, chaotic, and psychotically fearless force wound up being particularly effective. In an eight year campaign Gunter directed his troops in leading large team based chaotic rounds of the game where they played for increasingly escalating stakes. These mass battles were punctuated by key one-on-one matches for particularly strategic assets. Control went back and forth with the Elves losing then regaining lands, resources, and buildings, but the Vampyres won consistently more often. Finally, in the year 27,400 (TUE), Gunter the Flick challenged Wylayer'rinnya, Elven Witch Queen, in a final winner-take-all round of Agash, and after three days of fierce competition, Gunter was victorious and the orderly dismantling of Aasanarra'iaryl began.

Five years later, in 27,405, still drunk with their victory, the Agash brigade was entirely wiped out by the vague strategies of H'wel Hazeweed-In-My-Pockets, King of the High-Elves. H'wel was victorious by "losing" all of his games.
