Vhadxi's younger sister. In life the two were about as close as a brother and sister could be without being weird. However misfortune befell her family when Vhadxi was turned to vampyism. Except for Alanyaa all of Vhadxi's friends and family turned their backs on him. He repaid her loyalty by drinking her blood and turning her.

Revelling in their new evil the two became lovers. However one of Vhadxi's lesser lovers Adhnaten grew jealous of her and secretly killed her out of ambition. After her permanent loss of life she went to the Temple of Death where The Judges sentenced her to become a Soul Hunter.

As a Soul Hunter her first charge was the ghost of some hapless guy who just wanted to make pottery with his wife. Ya' know, to ease her into the whole soul hunting thing. However her second charge was none other than her brother/lover/killer/betrayer Vhadxi.

Despite being several times more powerful as an Eslovat than a human or even a Vampyre she was still too weak to singlehandedly overcome her brother's legions and was unable to cooperate with others trying to defeat him. She spent the Vampyric Wars slowly picking away at his forces in hopes of leaving him defenseless. However at the end of the Vampyric Wars he was sealed in the CryptoCrypt by humans, ironically protecting him from her.

For the next 25,000 years she simply waited as still as a statue.

After he escaped his prison Vhadxi spent several years moving quickly from place to place, both to further his evil plans and to flee his hunter. Eventually he once again acquired forces Alanyaa could not fight her way through. She once again began to pick away at his forces. However this time she was present for his defeat at the Most Epic and Climactic Battle of the War of Unlight and took his soul to the Temple of Death before the humans could try to seal him.
