Alvin Williams is the accountant of Rum Ol' Phil, the imaginary friend of Squidgy, the woodworm of Abercrombie, the accidental furniliar of Semmellhalt, the squire of Doric, the knight of Gimba, the principal lady of Terle and the first female Terleian. His wacky accounting antics are considered the chief reason for cutting him, Rum, and Squidy almost entirely out of Book 6.
