Ami-Tokii

The Ami-Tokii (pronounced Ah-Me-Toke-EE) are the bastard children that are the unfortunate consequence of the Vampyric Wars. Ami-Tokii are the product of mating between the evil Vampyre and the noble people of Kelembad. While it may not be easy to isolate an Ami-Tokii in amongst those of pure Kelembad blood, for their physical resemblance is identical, the mating process has imbued several of the Vampyre traits upon the Ami-Tokii spawns. Most of these traits are more potent in Ami-Tokii than originally in their Vampyre surrogates. Most notably is their inability to let an issue go, often causing others to break down in tears when their berating for foolishness goes over the line. Also of note is their enhanced night vision, which results in slightly larger pupils and allows the Ami-Tokii to sense when others are lying. Ami-Tokii are unable to reproduce with each other, and instead are forced to mate asexually. This often makes them irritable and distant, sometimes making it difficult at social events.

Despite being asexual, the Ami-Tokii are strikingly attractive.

Plight of the Ami-Tokii

In recent years, the Ami-Tokii have staged several marches in order to raise awareness of the Ami-Tokii plight and attempt to gain acceptance in society. Unfortunately, these marches have often ended badly, none more noticeably than the Great Ami Massacre that saw more than 100,000 Ami-Tokii lives destroyed when a severe case of Vampyre dry mouth could not be satisfied causing many to meet their untimely demise.
