Amulet of the Supreme Deadening

The Amulet of the Supreme Deadening is an extremely gaudy amulet worn almost exclusively by Death Elemenstors or those with severely bad taste, some of whom wish to be mistaken as a Death Elemenstor. Don't ask me why, not even god knows that. Usually the impostering doesn't last long as impostor Death Elemenstors usually find themselves dead for any number of reasons. Forgetting to breathe is common as is being forced not to breathe, often imposed by fearful and angry mobs.

It is claimed by those who have seen the Amulet of the Supreme Deadening, and not ended up dead at about the same time, that it's both every color at once and yet no colors at all. At which point the question is often asked, "So what, it's like black or white?" The response is usually something along the lines, "No, that can't be it. There's no way black or white alone could possibly be that gaudy. I mean that thing is supremely gaudy, they ought to rename it the Amulet of Supreme Gaudiness if you ask me. Look, you'll just have to see it for yourself to understand." But usually the risk of finding a Doomenor (who might not even have an Amulet of the Supreme Deadening) and not ending up some form of dead discourages many from bothering.

Only a fully qualified Death Elemenstor can utilize any of the amulet's power death giving and deadening powers.
