A large, brutish, and rather easily angered creature created in an attempt to create a super-Troll by taking two and a half-trolls and sticking them together really good, the Armanoids escaped from their creators and vanished into the mountain ranges of northern Battal.

Armanoids are distinctly lopsided and asymmetrical. Although not able to construct delicate tools or speak, their sheer brute strength is amazing. One Armanoid is capable of performing 100 punches in two seconds, stopping a rampaging dragon, cleaving small mountains in two, and tossing the average human 1000 miles away. Watching this seven limbed creature is confusing, as there's no way it's muscles or skeletal structure should work, and yet it still does.

Armanoids are fond of belts. Especially big, shiny ones.

Armanoids often find themselves in the employ of a Second Level Enchanted Alchemical Joiner, although they have little to no use for furniture.
