Attack of the Bacon Golems

Part cautionary tale, part farce, part collected lore. Attack of the Bacon Golems is a fictional work which exists inside the world of Battal. Although the contents are never specifically revealed or excerpted, the book itself makes several appearances in the literature.

It first appears when Horatio Luskfish is perusing the bookshelf of Zenethir Foulblade in Book 1. In Book 4, Sotar Olderndirt sees Steppy reading this book and uses it to begin a conversation, which ultimately leads to a rather torrid affair. Then in Book 7, the children of Valedaleglenhill find a copy hidden behind a large altar in the hall of the NightLairds in the Lands of Va.
