Augustus Felcher

Augustus Felcher (originally Agafopus Fleisher. He Anglicised his name upon moving to the United States), founder of United Dildonics, was born in Russia in 1875, and made his mark on the world, first as an importer of carved wooden personal care devices, most famously under the names 'Husband Helper', 'Nanny's Best Friend', and 'Schoolmarm's Pet', and later as a force in the low-cost animated entertainment industry.

It's said Augustus got into the business at the urging of his wife Katarina, who is reported to have told him "You better get some help if that's all there is to work with".

Augustus had one son, Reinhold, born late in life. Many have commented on how much Reinhold favored his father's first business partner, Eric vonSuave, which Augustus always took as a compliment, as he himself thought of Eric as 'a particularly fine figure of a man, and good at swinging a bat too'.
