An imposing canine creature with the appearance of a gigantic black jackal, save for a pair of razor sharp horns on the side of it's noggin and a pair of vestigial batwings growing from it's shoulders. The Barghest has a precognitive ability allowing it to see up to three days in the future. Seeing one is generally a sign of bad luck, as a barghest is usually fleeing from some disaster that will befall the area that will occur three days afterwards.

They are typically found in deserts and arid areas.
