Battal Census
Every 10 Years, A census of Battal is taken by those brave enough to traverse The Shield and The Sickle. These Censuses determine basic demogrpahic information, such as population density and general population makeup, as well as answers to those sorts surveys you see in news magazines.
Common questions one might see on the survey portion of the census are things that would pop up in every day conversation. Such as "How many human weaklings did you slaughter today?" and "What's the heaviest thing you've ever used to demolish a human weakling?". These statements are highly racially insensitive and are usually omitted from the version of the Census given to Men. Women Folk on the other hand, seem to enjoy answering these sorts of questions.
Census results vary from decade to decade, though it always seems that Men somehow always manage to come out on top, despite being the squishiest and most easily corruptable race on the face of Battal. There has been some talk of conspiracy. Some say that the Census is pure fallacy, and that Men always skew the results to favor themselves. These claims, however, have never been proven.
