Frog-like amphibians who live in the swamps of Battal.

The Battal Frogs are known for their unusual tendency to inflate themselves to great size when threatened or during the mating season. Some of the more spectacular specimens have been known to inflate to twelve times their initial size.

As a side note in the PnP RPG any mage or Elemenstor that takes one as a familiar gets the ability to increase his or her own size by one category three times a day.
