Behn Rabbit

Kicked out the the Etherbunny Guild of Messangers and Couriers of the Etherbunnies for substance abuse, Behn is the alcoholic companion of Nilfrem in The Journey of Wolfgang Apprentice. Behn travels with Wolfgang Apprentice and come to feel rather protective of him.

"Alright Behn, old boy, up and at..." I was cut short by the sight that I was confronted with. The rec room, (wreck room) was even more of a mess than was usual for the most used room in the house. Behn Rabbit was sprawled out on the linoleum floor, staring up at the ceiling with a blank stare. He was the embodiment of unconscious.

The place was a shambles, I would imagine that nothing could be harder to handle, or more destructive than a truly trashed Etherbunny.

I walked over to him and took a hold of his furry hind leg with both hands and started to pull. Dragging him over to the sink, I propped him up with his body draped over the side of it and his head hanging down into the basin. I put in the plug and turned on the cold water full blast. I turned and started to tidy up, gathering up empty bottles and the larger pieces of broken ones. I was confident that if he didn't drown this was a sure fire way to sober him up.

Not long after the water had begun to submerge his long ears there was a stirring in the white lump of fur. He felt around, trying to come to grips with the unexpected environment he found himself in. Soon Behn was standing straight up squealing at the top of his lungs, shaking his head violently and sputtering for air, sending sprinklings of water in all directions.

"Wolfgang!" he cried in a shrill voice, "I'm gonna KILL you!" He spun around to face me. I must admit that I felt a bit threatened by the intensity of his anger, not to mention the fact that he had a good two or three squith on me, height wise. But the overall effect was lost when he lurched and fell on his face and found that he was not quite as sober as he had first suspected.

"Right after you help me to my room," he added weakly. His fit of anger passed, I rushed over to his side, leaving the collection of bottles that I had gathered on the chair by the door, to be carried out later.

Does not answer to Behnny Rabbit.
