Blarf'vgelch-in-a-Box
Blarf'vgelches, in spite of being Battal's bar-none most disgusting creatures, have several uses. However, given their disgusting nature, nobody ever wants to handle a Blarf'vgelch directly. Thus, the Blarf'vgelch-in-a-Box.
The Box
"Blarf'vgelch-in-a-Box" is just what it sounds like, a Blarf'vgelch contained in a copper box small enough to be portable but large enough that the Blarf'vgelch has some space to move around. There are airholes in the box, but they're very, very tiny so as to ensure that nobody can see the Blarf'vgelch inside. The squishy, splattery sounds of the Blarf'vgelch can still be heard from within the box, but in general this system keeps the horribleness of the Blarf'vgelch to a minimum and makes it much easier to transport.
In some cases, more advanced boxes have been used, including a box with a time-release latch so as to give everyone ample time to get away before the Blarf'vgelch is unleashed, and a spring-loaded box designed to launch the Blarf'vgelch into the air (or in another desired direction) upon opening. The latter may have been the inspiration for the rather unfortunate "Blarf'vgelch-in-a-Box" toy.
The Real-Life Toy
The famous toy maker Fun Frutch made a terribly disasterous spring loaded Blarf'vgelch-in-a-Box, which played a merry tune when a handle was cranked, but just before reaching the end of the melody the top of the box would flip open and the Blarf'vgelch would be thrust forth at the top of a strong spring. Many parents returned the toy soon after buying it, both because it terrified their children and because the Blarf'vgelch's "repulsive slime coating" and "foul, splattering liquids" could seriously stain household upholstery.
