Brad Aviar

Brad Aviar was a director of The Wizbits. He was reportedly hired by General Defense Dynamics because it would violate several labour laws (and result in hefty overtime pay) to have the main director, Cassie Bloomfeld, direct every episode of the series run.

Whereas Bloomfeld often tried to temper the insanity of Executive Producer James Langomedes, Aviar was noted for his "grin and bear it" strategy. He followed most, if not all, of James Langomedes instructions to the letter, changing things only where network censorship demanded it.

This is not to say Aviar was a hack; in fact, his episodes are noted for their visual dynamics. Aviar was a master of recutting unrelated battle scenes from the original series ElamenSTAR to create new (and some would argue more epic) battles. His contributions were a major factor to the success of The Wizbits.

Aviar has leveraged his run on The Wizbits into a successful career writing and directing movies; his recent works include The Copper Cyclops and El Invencible.

Aviar, much like the rest of the staff of The Wizbits Cartoon, did not reach his current status fully unharmed; it is well-known he is on a regiment of sleeping medications to keep him from sleepwalking. During his sleepwalking episodes, he is prone to make apocalyptic predictions at uncomfortably loud volumes.
