The Brotherhood Octology

A series of eight novels currently being written simultaneously, set for semi-annual release originally beginning in 2007. Unspecified Delays and Hiccups In The Collaborative Process have lead to a series of delays that has lead fans to suspect that the novels are now being written one at a time, with the release of the first scheduled to happen after all eight have been penned. Two drafts of A New Brother have been leaked to the internet, showing significant differences between the two, largely in the number of unanswered questions which have been added in the second draft (presumably foreshadowing specifically added to reference events being added to future books in the series).

The storyline supposedly centers around the several previously unrelated brotherhoods.

• Brotherhood of the King
• The Brotherhood of the Unliquid Water
• The Bladebrothers
• The Quiet Brotherhood of Enchanted Carpenters and Associated Crafts
• The Brotherhood of the Wardrobe
• Brother Dranor
• The Brotherhood of the Second Prophecy
• an as yet unnamed brotherhood to be introduced in the first book. (Rumors on the interweb suggest that this shall be the "Brotherhood of the Sanitizing Fist", an appellation of The Cleansers of the Taint)
