Brownies

Tiny, elf-like creatures made out of living Chocolate. They are friendly creatures who dwell within the kitchens of other races and slip in at night, aiding in the preparations of mind-blowingly delicious deserts, and cleaning up dirty dishes and the like. If they are offered nuts as payment for their duty, they become highly offended and leave the house permanently.

Being made of chocolate, Brownies rarely appear during the day, or during the summer for fear that they'll melt in the heat. Their activity becomes much more prominent and noticeable during the cooler months, peaking with Socknight. It is said that Father Manifeet employs an entire town of Brownies to aid in preparation of his gifts of socks and sweets.

Brownies have a fondness for milk and milk products that occasionally leads them to befriending Dairy Bishops.

Brownies have some powerful abilities of Elemenstation, manifesting as levitation, teleportation, and superspeed - which helps them in their chores. They also have the ability to conjure a variety of candies and deserts, most prominently chocolate, of course.

It was an army of Brownies that effectively ended the Chocolate Jihad.

Although they've made few appearances in canon - a comically cowardly brownie named Hallorang is the sidekick of the main character The Grand Elemenstor of Magic. Also a village of Brownies is also featured in Epic Fantasy Warrior Quest XI, which has the Chocolate Jihad as one of the main backstories.
