Cassie Bloomfeld

Also known as "the most overworked woman in animation," Cassie Bloomfeld was the unfortunate director under James Langomedes, whom she has playfully referred to as "the madness taskmaster from beyond the stars." Serving as the go-between from Langomedes's raw stream of ideas and what she referred to as "sanity."

Despite suffering numerous breakdowns, Cassie remained optimistic and somewhat cheerful, "almost manically so" according to her co-workers. In her words:

"I've sat through the blind eunuchs, I've lived with the terrible spelling, and the doll things, and the books with creatures whose very names destroy all rational thought, and the time he exploded his car. After that Later Show thing, I thought he was near the breaking point, and finally he just went under. But after that, and that... I'm afraid. I'm afraid the end is coming and I can't stop it."

Cassie currently lives ("lurks") in her upscale apartment ("in the corner"), waiting for the next news about The Wizbits Cartoon ("scraping manifestos into the wallpaper with her fingernails"). She eagerly anticipates ("howls litanies in reverse Latin re:") Wizbits: The Movie.
