Catapultans

An extremely hearty and compact noble race who lived in Atlantistantinople, also known for their particularly keen eyesight.

The defining characteristic of this race is their method of transportation. Possessing keen eyesight and an over abundance of sturdiness, they built a network of transportation catapults around their kingdom, and would travel by flinging themselves great distances. In practice, each Catapultan has a medium-sized catapult at his or her dwelling, which is precisely ranged to fling the Catapultan to the regional catapult, which is adjustable to fling them larger distances.

The largest catapult is so large that it actually required the construction of several teeny catapults so that its builders could get from one side to the other.

In battle, they don Catapultan Shield Armor, round armor that allows the user to roll up into a ball given the Catapultan's compact size, and perfect for being flung from catapults straight into enemies. After the battle, warriors use small portable catapults to return to their own army.
