Summary

On their voyage across the sea, The Wizbits become close friends with pirate captain Vajra Bellfan saving her from death at the hands of an unnamed assassin. Reyarteb, however, has much in store for our heroes as they get closer to their destination, and a shocking revelation about Skip's past is revealed.

It looked as if The Wizbits were to be caught for certain in Reyarteb's cunning trap, but the kids "kick it into overgear" and pick the correct door, catch the falling candle, recover their stolen items, AND save the adorable puppy Rexie in the last 120 seconds of the episode.

Moral

Skip: In today's story, Reyarteb layed a trap for us. We barely escaped alive. And why did this happened? Because we trusted someone named "ytsurtton". So remember, never trust someone with a strange name!

Notes

Although never explicitly named, this episode marks one of the few times the Deathrider Ninja Clan and the Blood Pirates of Meydrag'haa are seen outside the CCG.

Many consider this one of the best episodes, not so much for what was shown, but for what was NOT shown. Aside from the jaw-dropping climax, much of the episode was expunged and replaced with new footage. A Matter Of Pirates And Ninjas, the ElamenSTAR episode this was adapted from, had a subplot that didn't quite mesh with the intent of the American series; see the episode for more information.
