Combustion

A Fire Gear that has varying levels of damage. Striking this on any living or non-living target allows Fire Elemenstors to tap into the potential chemical energy in an object and release it all at once, giving them the ability to transform anything they touch into an explosive device with a force relative to the potential chemical energy stored inside.

There's a complex formula that explains the amount of damage it will do relative to the subject, but nobody really understands it.
