Also known as Edible Elemenstation, Culimancy is a derivative of Elemenstation created by High Culimancer Bertrick. With it one may empower foods and spices to bestow incredible - albeit temporary - abilities or ailments on those who ingest the Culimanced foods.

The basis of Culimancy is that tastes relate to the Elements, and that taste is always due to the combination of two elements or more. Their interactions together, affecting the taste of the user, trigger latent Elemenstation powers in the consumer, with the substance of the food itself providing fuel. Foods assembled with Culimancy, oddly, affect even those with damaged taste or smell, as seen in the series, suggesting that flavor transcends the regular senses in sentients.

While many recipes of lesser power - such as Presto Peppers, Tenacious Turnips, and other foods recorded in Culimancy: Volume 1 - are made available to high-paying connoisseurs and unorthodox seekers of power, the most robust dishes have been lost in the now legendary Culimancy Made Easy, rumored to be in the hands of the Obsidian Culimancers. Still other recipes of Culimantic power can be found among the pages of Mother Nancy's Fancy Cookbook, although in the hands of an ordinary cook most recipes in that book turn out as merely delicious.

Culimancy is interesting because it is a highly codified variant of Elemenstation, but chronologically predates the discovery of High Elemenstation. It is suspected for this reason that the Elemenstor who inspired High Culimancer Bertrick was a time travelling High Elemenstor, rather than a Low Elemenstor (or Protoelemenstor) which would have been native to the time period where he crafted Culimancy. For eonicles after its invention, Culimancy was an arcane art practiced almost exclusively by Dwarves, particularly the long lived High Culimancer Bertrick himself.
