A very small cult, almost exclusively Cohoris in its membership. Appeared in the ElamenSTAR saga and were the focus of the episode The Holy Messiah Carpenter! They are generally peace-loving, except when it comes to those who participated in the impaling of Joshua, whom they seek to torture and kill.
The basis of their religion is fairly straightforward. The Cohoris were a tree-dwelling people who originally hailed from the Tiny Forest of Minuaten. Their knowledge of woodworking was vast and their skill was unrivaled, but they woodworked their forest until nothing remained but grassland. Joshua promised to lead them to a new forest where they could return to being the great people they once were. When the Cohoris elders pointed out that they were a great people despite lacking a forest, Joshua suggested they woodwork the Sacred-but-Unimpressive Woodpile into something more useful. This blasphemy was not tolerated and, with the help of the Four Underdogs, the elders captured Joshua, convicted him of instigating a revolt, and impaled him for his crimes.
At his death, Joshua swore he would return again someday to wreak vengeance on the world and lead the faithful Cohoris to the promised forest. Those who believed his words chased the Four Underdogs out of their grassland home with murderous intent.
The membership of this cult have a particular fondness for Christmas, as it falls on the birthday of their would-be deliverer.
