Dagger of Many Pokings

Ah, the Dagger of Many Pokings! There is quite a tale behind this legendary dirk.

Forged in the hellfires spewing forth from the crater of The Mountain Filled with Hot Lava in the latter half of 14,402, the Dagger of Many Pokings was commissioned to be made for the first King of the Orange Peak. The mighty weapon was forged by the slightly shifty blacksmith Vander Albercroftson, and was the only work of note he ever made. To ensure another blade of this calibur was never made again, The King ordered Vander to be killed. This started the blood cycle of the vengeance the Dagger of Many Pokings is known for. One year later The King himself was assassinated with the very dagger he had killed for.

After the assassination of the first king of Orange Peak the Dagger of Many Pokings was lost for a number of years, although many believe it to be responsible for a number of brutal killings throughout the lands of both The Sickle and The Shield. The dreaded dirk finally resurfaced in 15,875 in the hands of Durdekedohedron the Wicked. He is counted as being responsible for the deaths of over 15,000 inhabitants of Battal over the course of 2 years.

Upon his death in 15,880 in the Great War of Magiks and Things, the Dagger of Many Pokings was recovered and placed on display in the Museum of Really Deadly Weapons where it resides today.
