Dagon

Dagon, a long lost swordsmith of questionable repute, was a known drunk and huffer of furniture polish. Although he not mentioned in any of Tycho Brahe's works, or fan fiction known to yet be completed, (most knowledge of Dagon comes from the CCG) it is known that some psychological problem led to his creation of Dagon's 8th Sword Of Power Against Wood, despite that he had only created mundane swords before that point. Apparently, he had either meant to destroy furniture, and thus create a reason to take free furniture polish, or genuinely thought people to be made of wood.

Dagon's greatest work was one that would go unaccomplished. He set out to create The Super Ultimate Sword of Great Power and Magic, but first he would need to collect all of the great magic swords of Battal, which he planned to melt down. He gathered quite a collection, but ultimately was still collecting when he met the fate that all mortal creatures do, he died. Only his assistant, Olblax, was left to finish this great work.

After his death, his swords passed hands many times, as described on the page describing the sword. Clearly, Dagon never had to face a level 27 High Dark Elemenstor with Claygon's 18th Level Intransigent Ring Of Controlling. Or, if he did, he was clearly ill-equipped.

It is also known that at some point Dagon had a pet dragon who, much later in life, was fond of Dagonapple Latkes. Either this is because of a fondness for his former master, or emnity, it is not known. (See: The Confusion)
