Darklands

 

A plane of hellish war covered in magma, dotted with small islands upon which ruined vestiges of civilization rest. There is bloodshed and torture all around, and it's filled with some quite nasty denizens. The soil is very fertile, though, and makes good farmland. This means that there are an inordinate number of peasants in this plane whose job it is to maintain the farms that these epic wars are occuring on and destroying.

 

It appears to be located somewhere beneath the Plane of Underhell.
