Dirge of Deceit of the Last Days
Considered by some to be one of the most infuriating elements of the Plunder of the Barrenlands module of the ELotH: TES - Pen and Paper RPG, especially if one's Game Master was particularly keen on staying "in character" and playing exactly as directed. The lyrics themselves are not necessarily long, but the marginalia of the module direct the GM to have two other players join in order to make a "round" in three part harmony (like they make you do in "Row Row Row Your Boat" in elementary school), repeating no less than 12 times:
We, we, of fog and shroud,
betray them with our scheme,
evilly, evilly, evilly, evilly,
Mua-ha-ha-ha-heee
asura |
I think at this point in the game I actually threw a full can of soda at my GM. He had to get stiches. For some reason, we tried to finish the game a week... with similar consequences during "The Funeral Dirge of the Hoargs". |
