Disadvantage: Forgetful

Huh? Prone: -20 points, Unfazed: -50 points, Mild Amnesia: -100 points, Deep Seated Amnesia: -140 points

Huh? Prone:

  • You forget things, more things than normal people.
  • This stems from the fact that you're forgetful.

  • -2 to Wisdom.
  • 5% chance of "losing" a random item each time your character rests.

Unfazed:

  • You're mildly dyslexic, you stop in the middle of sentences and you often forget what you're doing.
  • Surprisingly, this also stems from the fact that you're forgetful.

  • -4 to Wisdom.
  • -3 to all rolls involving more than one step.

Mild Amnesia:

  • You have trouble remembering pretty much everything. This affects your ability to do things.
  • Surprisingly to you, this also is a result of your forgetfulness.

  • -6 to Wisdom.
  • 30% chance of automatically failing any roll involving something previously done.
  • 40% chance of character forgetting he/she possesses an item player intends character to use.

Deep Seated Amnesia:

  • You are... something... or other... I think... wait....

  • -10 to Wisdom.
  • Character is unable to use any knowledge that cannot be gained by what he/she currently sees (Character has absolutely no memory of anything that has previously happened to character)

I don't have any recolection of "Uber Amnesia" as a Forgetful rank.-Tanktunker
Neither do I, especially since it basically seemed to be Deep Seated, only with more points. Perhaps it was some house rules, or maybe it was from one of the more rare--or possibly unlicensed--expansions? -patkelly
Well, it also requires a concentration roll to suceed at anything that is being attempted for the first time since resting, but whatever. I probably just put that in because my old GM gave me that once. I think. -saintb
Oh. Well, I'm not sure where it came from, but if you think it was from a valid source, then by all means put it in, saintb. --patkelly
Meh. Five ranks of Forgetfulness would seem a bit much at this point. -saintb
I thought I remember there only being 4? I dunno. I forgot which page this thing is on in the rulebook. -TychoCelchuuu
Let's just keep it at four. -saintb
