Disadvantage:Insomniac

 

Tired: -20 points, Sleepless: -40 points

 

A Tired character requires twice as much sleep as other characters. If the character does not get a full 11 hours of sleep per night then for the entire following day the character suffers a -D11 penalty to INT, WIS and WIT, and takes a -4 penalty on all Concentration rolls. In addition, the character looks extremely haggard and drawn-looking, causing people to constantly remark about how tired the character looks and the size of the bags under the character's eyes.

 

A Sleepless character is exactly the same as a Tired character, but must FAIL a Concentration test to fall asleep every night. Note that Disadvantage:Actually Harmless does not affect this test.

 

A character may substitute caffeine for sleep at a standard rate of one cup for an hour's sleep.
