A giant creature with a body made out of stone and covered in shaggy purple hair. Dugdiggers have a gigantic drill on the front of their heads that allow them to burrow through the depths of the earth. They use their drills to break up the rock and their huge, shovel-like foreclaws to clear away the rubble and soil. Dugdiggers feed primarily on microscopic organisms in the soil which they strain through their body as they drill. Lacking eyes, they rely on their sensitive fur to identify their surroundings via vibrations.

Dugdiggers are easily pacified by music, but tend to be harmless in general, anyways.
