Also known as "Underground Apes" or "Demi-Dwarves", Dumbles are tiny, simian-like creatures with the general build of a dwarf that dwell in caverns. They feed primarily on fungi and tiny animals and live in troops, the leader of which is determined by how many shiny rocks he or she can collect. There are three breeds of Dumbles - the Foothill Dumbles, which only live near caves and have green skin, the Deep Dumbles, which have brown skink and live deep underground and are more secretive and rare, the Dark Dumbles who are violent and have disturbing transparent skin, and the Peak Dumbles who have white skin and live atop frigid mountain peaks.

Dumble troops can sometimes be witnessed performing odd acts of masonry, constructing piles of rocks similar to the real world's Stonehenge.
