Eagle Time

The race of hy-descendent-kryatures known as the Eagles developed the most sophisticated and accurate system of time measurement known in the lands of Battal. At first, this sounds like not much of a feat compared to civilizations that had years and months of periods of such great variability, but the Eagle Lunar Calendar was composed of a regular number of both days and months. It is difficult to track Eagle Time in terms of Battal days, months or years, as these crude intervals were so very irregular.

• 399 ET – Time of the Errant Dullards (The Magic Sword Kings Period)

• 562 ET -- Gywhair The Wisened transcribes all relevant historical knowledge into Great Tome of Highest Knowledge of the Great Eagles.

• 789 ET – A Breaking Off of Places We Didn’t Like Anyway (The Sundering)

• 800 ET – The Darkest of Ages wherein The Great Tome of Highest Knowledge of the Great Eagles is Sullied (The Burnten'ed Times)

• 1032 ET – The Idea that Will Never Work (The Unsundering)

• 1231 ET -- The Re-Compiling of All Highest Knowledge of the Great Eagles is completed by Ryghwai the Celestial.
