A serialized epic detailing the exploits of a Atlantistantinoplian hero during the vast lost time period when the continent was above water. The most recent saga is "The Flatwars Record", a recalling of the terrible conflict that precipitated the fall of this great land. Written by the American, C S Roberts (then translated messily into English), it is an hot button item of disagreement between rabid canonites and Spoonthusiasts, as it takes place in a blank space in the history of Battal, and is not written by Lord Tycho himself.

Despite its lurid and provocatively deviant nature, as it is permitted to persist in publication, the series has been unofficially accepted as Canon.

It was during this time period that Utensilife was introduced to the rest of Battal, their shapes being reproduced long after their fall and found helpful in consuming food.

It is storied that the battle-spoons of the Epic Hero Wangdok may have originated from the latter days of this great empire.
