Elemenstor Extreme Articulate Figurines
Elemenstor Extreme Articulate Figurines were intended to be usable with the rules for Multigame Corp's other miniature based games. The miniatures represented a vast cross selection of characters from ELotH:TES cannon, sculpted in epic detail, to the delight of many fans. The unfortunate problem, was that neither pewter nor lead was available the week that the figurines were cast. Aparently the head of the production factory worked out a deal to cast the figures out of depleted uranium, mercury, red and white phosphorous, and a number of other unpleasant compounds where were readily available.
The resulting miniatures set off radiation detectors, but were a huge hit with gaming stores as the eerie glow from the figurines was considered to be "pretty cool". The downfall of the set had to be at one of the conventions, where the combined mass of figurines almost started a nuclear reaction. Fortunately, several furnies were pushed into the developing pile and cancled the reaction.
Featured figurines were:
- Harbinger Portent, with cool little metal snowflakes. Unfortunately, they left burns on the fingertips. Glowed in the dark as well as in the light. Caused all kinds of kooky growths with prolonged exposure.
- Lopae of Hopea, with some nameless dwarves to help balance her. Her endowments really jangled and caused insanity if touched to skin. Caused the most widespread devastation, oddly.
- Lord Hopebane with genuine "opress the people" action in the form of a toxic miasma.
- Cubby, which stored miniatures' statistic cards before erupting them into flame with his awesome magnesium interior.
- War Men, three to a pack. Would occasionally spawn new lifeforms, known collectively as Crazy Aninals after the Carrion: The Marksman card.
- Battal Toads, in packs of eight. If swallowed, caused bones to glow, then try to escape.
- Giant-sized Charnel Wyrm, which turned to acid if exposed to air.
- A shapeless quiescent blob of unstable matter that reacts to the emotions of people near it: anger turned the matter into a blood-thirsty blender devil, sadness turned it into a laser-refracting energy dish, and happiness turns it into a blood-thirsty blender devil. Supposed to be a Misnomer.
| A large number of figurines were produced, but I've only listed the ones I personally saw before the hazmat team filled the store with concrete and wrapped it in lead. - xC0000005 |
