Back to Conventions

Elemenstorm 2005

The Conference

The first conference to be organized, planned, and sponsored by WizStorm (the ELotH PR company started by fans of the books/cartoons) who bravely picked up the mantle and resuming the Elemenstorm convention series after a six year hiatus brought about by the hail storm of lawsuits sparked by certain events that transpired at Elemenstorm '99.

Speakers

Panel Discussions

Show Floor

  • 400 Booths of Elemenstor and Wizbits Merchandise
    • 26 booths caught fire (record low) due to the tight congregation of wizbits merchandise.
    • 13 fist fights broke out over rare mint-in-box collectables
  • Dan Potter and Hal Robinson book signings
  • The Art of John Lee
  • One empty booth where Annonymous Miranda was supposed to sit and sign/sell copies of the comic. Last minute no-show.

Announcements

Show Exclusive Collectables

  • A limited edition die-cast Tobun keychain. Only the first 100 in the door got one.

But More Importantly...

The con was excellent, but the main things that really had people on the message boards talking were not scheduled events.

If no one has any complaints, I think we should adopt this as the standard convention template.
