Enchantrings of Rite

A Carry based magic revealed to Sancturions upon their Inordination. This enchantring allows the user to change the deed to any object such that it will belong to a new owner. This spell changes all the relevant paperwork involved in declaring the ownership of an item or property without the hassle of having to fill out the paperwork yourself or paying the ridiculous surcharges from the Item Law Makers Guild or other such organizations. Most Sancturions will preform this enchantring for a reasonable donation to their sanctuary (note that this fee is on top of any other fees if you acquired the object from the Sancturions).

Needless to say this ability causes great consternation to the ILMG, who has been involved in a number of court cases with the Chambre Pacificum about this ability and their usage of it. As a result of the court cases several Item Laws were instituted to deal with it: Law 167, Law 233 and the infamous Law 360. However even with these laws the ILMG has lost every single court case against the Chambre Pacificum owing to the reputation of the Chambre and the ILMG.

The Dark Side of Carry, a book by Paul Thompson, contains several excerpts from these trials.
