Eolia Enrapta
"Come, Fogg! If we cannot survive this, what use is heroics?"
Eolia was the supportive and sickly love interest from Final Furniture VII. Appearing early in the game, Eolia was a meek Flowergirl with Borner talents who was always ready to greet Fogg Struggl with vague words of support and healing gears. At the end of Disc 2, shortly after Vantoth slays Bumbly the Peep, she swears eternal vengance upon the evil Vampyress. Transcribed in its entirity:
Eolia: "Can you not see, Vantoth? Your slaying of our friend has driven me into horrible anger! You cannot resist my vengance!"
Vantoth: "Eheh. Pardon if I'm not intimidated."
Eolia: "What do you speak of?"
Vantoth: "I know something you don't."
Eolia: "What?"
Vantoth: "You have AIDS."
Eolia: "What? ... (cough)"
(Eolia keels over)
Vantoth: "Next."
After the ensuing boss battle, Fogg and company bury Eolia and Bumbly in a massive funeral pyre; during the (2-hour-long, unskippable) cremation scene, Fogg ruminates on the great injustice that allowed Eolia to die, followed by an onscreen flashing of a phone number to a large charity organization (the Interpreting Dreams for Beer Foundation) with instructions to the player to pour as much money into it as possible.
Eolia is broadly disliked for her stilted speech patterns and untimely death, although she is a common fixture in "Enjoy your AIDS" image macros.
