Originally "The Evening of Masks", this holiday was started by the Nartuush Tribe as a means of robbing people without having to fight them, but soon evolved into a more popular and fun-filled holiday.

It was born from a small group of Nartuush who wanted to raid a nearby village but had no weaponry or inclination to fight. To make up for this, they constructed their loincloths into crude masks, set some fires to the local forest, and ran into the village screaming. It worked like a charm and the villagers fled in terror - half because of the frightening masks, another half because they Nartuush were wearing nothing BUT masks.

The following year, the group tried the raid again only to find offerings of food for them already set out amongst bonfires, on the condition that they wear the masks AND their loincloths.

Since then, it has become a popular annual festival in Battal, where people dress up wearing horrifying or frightening masks and give out free food to each other amongst bonfires.

Also, the showing of genitals is even more looked down upon than usual. Just to make sure that point is made clearly.
