Exit, Skip!

The Wizbits, Episode 205

Aired 8 October, 2000

Summary

While staying at the The Fancy Fisherman, Blunder's mood swings get out of hand causing him to tear up the inn. The fiasco ends with with a team blow up and Skip threatening to leave the group.

Skip's exit doesn't last long, however, as the team is ambushed by Grimfleur and Skip and Blunder are forced to come to the rescue. The team eventually forgives them both and move on. Regardless, Skip decides to take a break from adventuring for a while and disappears from the series, returning later in episode 211, The Return of Skip!.

Moral:

Lander: Even friends can fight sometimes, but it takes real courage to forgive.

Moral 2:

Skip: Don't let red pandas drink booze.

Notes

This is the only episode of The Wizbits to include two morals, presumably to underscore the episode's importance.

Comments

This marks the first and only appearance of the Pompadour of Infinite Calm, which happens to be the only wig in Blunder's possession and the subject of much debate over its origins.

This also marks the last episode that Skip will appear in during season 2 until episode 211 (with the exception of episode 208, which may have been a mistake by the animators). In the meantime, he is replaced by Doodle.

After a bad incident with cheese fondue, Toasty begins eating fruit pies. The airdate of this episode also marks the public Debut of Official Wizbits Fruit Pies.
