The Eye Explosion Epidemic refers to a test showing of Final Furniture VII: Accession Progeny in which all of the viewers had their eyes explode due to the "1337 graphics", as one of the survivors put it. Because of this, the graphics were downgraded a little, completely insulting everyone who had wasted their lives animating one lock of hair for a couple of seconds. This anger eventually led to the Hair Massacre.
