Vicious, giant voles with fangs. They guard the mountain pass Alake'l against intruders, eating any who come without the approval of their Fanged Vole-Lord. Fanged Vole-Guards have a sixth sense that allows them to determine if those who are approaching are aware of the vole-guard's presence. This allows them to coordinate surprise attacks that leave their victims with almost no time to retaliate before they are viciously eaten.
