Field of Impossibility

Distorting timenes, spacenes, and possibly even the very epicness of The Landworld, a Field of Impossibility surrounds The Impossible Spire, its very existence/nonexistence a vexing problem to even the greatest minds of the Highest Elemenstors. There is a bit of what we would call a "chicken and egg" problem, wherein the Elemenstors continually argue over whether the Field of Impossibility created the Darkrift, or vice versa.

Eulith, however, proposed that the Darkrift, the Chasm, and the Field were all actually:

"...identical phenomena of differing dimensions manifest in the same locality by a concentration of unlikely events that permeated several ur-conditions of the "before-time", thus creating an anomalous rift circularly linking the Darkstorm to to the world-plane that was created from it, and thus bounding these trans-dimensional-event-places within the confines of the physiks of the present day, which are inexorably linked to the Starborn Gem and its meta-ur-field of epicness from which all mind and matter are respectively derived and arranged."

Shortly afterward, Eulith was declared by his contemporaries to be "100% Batshit Loco." They even made him a shirt.

Impossible Events Relating to the Spire

The Darkrift opens, forming the Chasm of Eternal Sorrow among other things.
Mo-pi falls from a cliff far below The Impossible Spire yet is somehow impaled upon it.
Mo-pi is somehow alive thousands of years later when Vhadxi comes looking for him, and recovers from being impaled on a gigantic black spike.
The Darkrift is transformed into a hat
Sovereign Shadomorn and King Pomcloud fight side by side against Mo-pi atop the spire even though Pomcloud became king on Shadomorn's death. Shadomorn, still unwilling to draw his blade, uses his deadly Three Fingered Snake unarmed combat killing technique, which although unable to affect the Vampyre General, it does distract him for just long enough.
