Firebrand Dagger
The Firebrand Dagger was a precious heirloom of the Old Lost Dwarf Kingdom Beneath Some Mountains Somewhere, from whence hailed the Several Dwarves who joined the Great Rebellion of the Unified Rebels of the Free Lands of Most of the Shield. Forged in fires in caverns which were said to even predate the Really Big Hole, bejeweled with the Family Gems of Fyrg'nad, the ancient Dwarf-King, and passed down through generations of his line, surviving even the horrific Vampyric Wars... she was such a rare artifact, that there have been only several dozen near to her quality in all of Battal.
"Tayke it inta year hans, lad!" spake the Dwarf, "Feal unto ye its greeat POWER!"
Propitious Opportune, game lad that he wyre, graspe'd the Firebrand Dagger from the leader'er of the Several Dwarves.
"I know her well," sayed Duane, "very well from days passed". And the dagger, it did seem, went about to glowing and humming in responsiven'ing to the talkying lance.
"Her?" askyd Garvey, a bit surprisened.
"Ignorant arseholder! You dunnit take me fer some fancy lance, do ye?" indignantly spat Duane, "that fayerest dagger were borned deep in the deepenest places of the Elde Dwarfe Kingdyme beneath the Beutrafficades, beneath the very hottest fires of the dark lord's maker... the Demon God Resh'zantharr himself!"
"Is that whye yon dagger can slay the immartal Rhaja Lord?
"Well, no... but it cannut hyrt, cannit?" mused Duane. "Mostly it explaines why she's so godthained hot! Looka that hilt lads! It's FYNE!"
