Firewriting

Also known as Distress Flare, this gear allows a Fire Elemenstor to send up balls of fire that explode into writing that says whatever they want. This is especially impressive at night. It was designed to be used as a distress signal for Elemenstors who are lost or in danger.

More often, someone pays them to have them send up a message like "Jane, Will You Marry Me?" or "Happy Birthday, Greg!"
