Free-Lance

Though only very slightly magical, the Free-Lance is the one item every weapon merchant absolutely must have in his store inventory at all times, and it does not cost anything, though certain conditions apply (see Law #345).

However, even though the Free-Lance does not cost anything, it is rarely demanded, since weapon merchants found loopholes in Law #345, such as taking a long, brittle twig, sticking a relatively sharp pebble at the end and calling it a Free-Lance.
