Fromlem's Guide to Guides, Tomes, and Reference Materials (or Fromlem's Guide)

The definate index of reference materials within the Battal world. Guide books and Reference Tomes often cite their Fromlem's Guide Rating on their cover or in their text as a sort of rule of thumb seal of approval for the content of the manual.

Unfortunately, the guide hands out so many categories and individualized specialty awards (often of a completely inscrutable nature) that each one in itself is almost entirely meaningless. Still, the book itself is known for its accuracy, thoroughness, and reliability.

Fromlem's Guide has given itself the Excellent Sticker of Recursive Excellence.
