Furneism
Beliefs
Furneists, or members of the Seating Arrangement of Den Arbor live in adoration of Furniliars, taking on their form in costume and mannerisms in the hopes of one day ascending to Furniliar form. The members of the cult are easily recognizable with their facade outfits of inviting surfaces, faux wood paneling and kitschy adornments. Claims have been made that Furnies are members of this cult but the two are in fact separate phenomenon.
There are many tenants of the religion that are quite strict. They follow the Carvings of Commode R. Scrollwerk which are detailed as follows:
- Procreation shall be done only adorned as the holy and only if properly dusted
- No Fernileist shall open the storage cavities of another without consent
- Any marring or damage must be assessed by the Seating Arrangement of Den Arbor before repairs or re-finishing can be applied
- Fire is strictly prohibited. Seriously, get that candle off me right now.
