Gilgamar Smith

Gilgamar Smith was a powerful Dark Elemenstor from the kingdom of Ezermethalon. Having the desire to shape the minds of young would be Elemenstors with the Knack, Gilgamar found four other like minded High Elemenstors, and founded the Institute Of Accoutermentia.

Styling themselves as the new Four Underdogs, with high hopes for their school, they each founded a school "house" within the school which managed its own curriculum, admissions, and discipline policies.

Gilgamar Smith founded the house of Gilgamar, after Smith House was shot down for being rather wimpy sounding. Proposterous Schmelgabel, an uncanny Lightning Elemenstor founded the house of Schmelgabel. Grand Elemenstor Raffleston, who was actually the Grand Elemenstor of peanut, founded the house of Raffleston. Finally Evole Slobodan, a powerful Blood Elemenstor, founded the house of Slobodan.

Gilgamar, who kept his powers of Dark Elemenstation secret, claiming to be a Water Elemenstor, was unhappy with Evole's blatent creation of an "evil" faction within the school. His hope was to subtly influence all of the students to turn toward the dark ways, but his thought that with such a blatant dark house, the other houses would be on guard against such tactics.

As a result, Smith publicly opposed the creation of the house of Slobodan. This lead to his untimely murder, taking to his grave his plans for a dark school which turns all students to the ways of Dark Elemenstation. As a result, his legacy in the house of Gilgamar is that of upright Elemenstors who oppose darkness at every turn, even willing to give their lives to fight against evil, as was the perception of their founder Gilgamar Smith.
