Great Wars of Battal

A relatively recent series of unnconnected stories by several authors, but handled all by one editor and a group of professional military advisors, the Great Wars of Battal series isn't so much a series in the true sense. Rather, it is a collection of stories about overlooked conflicts in Battal, all written from a professionaly stratetic point of view, with a real-life group of warmakers analyzing the intricacies of each battle and pointing out good and bad strategies on each side.

This makes them dull as dishwater to read, but players of the Pen and Paper RPG have found them useful in organizing large campaigns.
